"Our parish groups and ministries offer a way for you and your family to connect to the parish, to serve others, and to grow in Spirit. I pray that you will join us as we worship, serve and grow in our love of Jesus Christ and each other." Father Vince Rogers, Pastor
This year's theme for Catholic Schools is, "Learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.” The theme encompasses the true meaning of what a Catholic School can offer children when they are given an opportunity to strengthen their faith in order to model the teachings of Christ. It is with this intention that I would like to invite your family to become part of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish School.
St. Andrew the Apostle Parish is very gracious in offering our young families the opportunity to help deepen their faith life through the ministry of our school. Father Vince Rogers firmly believes that Catholic schools teach children the most important things about life: praying together every day, learning Christian doctrine, regularly attending Mass, visiting our Lord in Adoration, experiencing Christ's mercy in confession, and learning how to love and forgive each other. The Catechism of the Catholic Church entrusts you as parents to be your child’s first teacher; I view my role, and the role of our school, as assisting you in this process.
St. Andrew the Apostle Parish School does an outstanding job instilling in our children the importance of following Jesus through the traditional teachings of our Faith. Woven through our rigorous curriculum are the teachings of Christ in accordance with both the Diocesan and Missouri State Educational objectives. Our teachers implement effective instructional strategies through the use of innovative, creative, and hands-on curriculum. We are fully accredited by AdvancEd and the Missouri Non-Public School Accrediting Association. Our school community and facility offers our children a learning environment that is welcoming, small and secure.
St. Andrew the Apostle Parish School offers a non-tuition experience in order for all families to be able to attend. We are grateful for the sacrifice of all of our parishioners who help subsidize the good work we do at school. School families are asked to pray on what sacrifice they could make to help support this ministry. If you choose our excellent school, you will be asked to make, after prayer, a sacrificial pledge to the parish to be paid weekly or monthly, as you choose. No one is turned away due to lack of funds. We understand that many families cannot fund the entire cost of educating their children in our school. There are no percentages or set amounts, only the requirement of Sacrificial Giving. The requirement of our Lord was that we give back to God first, and not just from our excess. Luke 21:1-4 should be our inspiration on giving.
Please come see our classrooms in action by touring our school. Call me to schedule a tour or answer any of your questions. You may also submit a registration form and I will contact you.
