Guardians of Faith

This program is designed to help Kindergarten through 5th grade students understand the teaching of the catholic Church and grow in their spiritual love of Christ. Classes take place in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish School.

First Reconciliation and Communion

The Sacraments of are provided during the 2nd grade. Parents are required to attend a preparation meeting in which they are given information to help their children understand the importance of the sacraments. Students are then tested by the pastor or teacher on their knowledge of the sacraments. The requirements to be eligible to receive these sacraments are:

• Family must be a registered parishioner at SATAPS
• Child must be baptized and copy of certificate provided to Donna
• Child must have completed one full year of Religious Education class. If you are new to the parish, please provide a letter from your former parish, indicating the child's attendance
