"Our body is a cenacle, a monstrance: through its crystal the world should see God". - St. Gianna Berreta Molla

      Mission
Our mission is to sow seeds of love and mercy in all phases of life from conception to natural death.

      History
For over 20 years, St. Andrew’s Life, Mercy and Love Group has actively worked to minister to the human heart by educating parishioners and our community about the sacredness of life; uncovering the truth about the life and death concerns we currently face; and shedding light on what the Gospels and Catholic Church teaches about the dignity, value, and worth of each person. We also work together raising funds for a variety of life supporting organizations in our community and beyond.

Please prayerfully consider joining our efforts to care for the vulnerable with love through prayer, participation in our ministry, or through our annual fundraising activities.

      Meetings
Every first Wednesday at 6:30 pm in the School Conference Room

Prayers: We encourage everyone to pray rosaries, novenas, special devotionals as well as offer Masses and Holy Hours toward building a culture of life.

St. Gianna is the patron saint of mothers, the unborn, and physicians

       ANNUAL PROJECTS

Respect Life Month Education Display (October): To help cultivate awareness, understanding, and discussion about pertinent life concerns, an educational display will be in the church narthex along with a volunteer after weekend masses to answer questions and provide resources.

Respect Life Education Day (date varies): St. Andrew’s Life, Mercy and Love Group assists with this event hosted at St. Pius X High School.

Bingo for Babies (date varies): Periodically, the Life, Mercy and Love Group hosts a Bingo for Babies event to provide financial support to our ministry and local pro-life programs like area pregnancy centers and homes.

Annual Women Luncheon and Purse Auction (October, see bulletin): This engaging Women’s Luncheon with inspirational speaker and purse auction is a cherished parish event as well as a great opportunity to donate and bid on gently used purses. Please invite your mom, daughters, and friends for this fun event! All proceeds go to fund St. Andrew’s Life, Mercy and Love Group, which supports a variety of pro-life initiatives in our community and beyond!

Baby Bottles, Diapers, & Baby Items Collection (October, see bulletin): Baby bottles are passed out after all weekend Masses for parishioners to fill with change, checks, and gold to benefit local pro-life organizations. Parishioners are also encouraged to bring in diapers and other baby items to support those in need.

Spiritual Adoption: The late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen encourages people to spiritually adopt an unknown child and pray for them for 9 months. To learn more about this beautiful program visit: http://spiritualadoption.org

      VOLUNTEER
There are many ongoing volunteer opportunities to help St. Andrews’ Life, Mercy and Love Group. One of the best ways to learn about these opportunities is to attend one of our monthly meetings on first Wednesday at 6:30pm in the School Conference Room.

Additionally, there are many local and national pro-life organizations who need volunteers, mentors, and donations, which can be located through our Community Resource Guidebook Link below.

      APOSTOLIC ACTIONS
When someone shares their struggling with a particular life concern like an unplanned pregnancy or end-of-life decision: reassure them, provide them the Community Resource Guidebook Link via text, email or printed copy and follow-up with them. Together we can build a culture of life!
