Q: What do I do if I can’t make my scheduled Eucharistic Adoration time?
A: Please contact your Eucharistic Adoration Partner first and then contact:
Q: What do I do if my hour is finished, but no one has come to replace me?
A: The Blessed Sacrament must not be left alone, so please wait to see if another adorer comes. If you must leave, please contact
Madelyn Ross - [email protected] or 816-500-3108
Tina Gorman - [email protected] or 816-835-2662
Q: Why should Our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament never be left alone?
A: Christ is fully present to us-body, blood, soul and divinity-through the miracle of the Holy Eucharist. He should never be abandoned as he was in the Garden of Gethsemane by the twelve apostles, (MT 26:56)
Q: How many scheduled adorers are needed for each hour?
A: The USCCB mandates two Adorers be scheduled for each hour. However, having three Scheduled Adorers is preferred so if an Adorer doesn’t show there will still be two Adorers present.
Q: How do I enter for Overnight Eucharistic Adoration after the church is locked?
A: Please enter through the door to the right of the Alter (facing the Alter).
Q: How do I know if Eucharistic Adoration is closed due to weather or a funeral?
A: The Parish Office will send out an email and robo call when Eucharistic Adoration is cancelled or will begin late.
